Access to education: Due to the ongoing war, Afghan children have been deprived of education. ODS believes that education is a priority need and can significantly contribute to our mission of achieving a developed and peaceful Afghanistan. ODS aims to improve access to education, including on neglected topics such as peace, equality, and justice.

Access to Employment:  As a country with the majority of the population under the age of 30, the rate of unemployment is alarmingly high. Non-state armed actors have created an economic incentive for unemployed youth that has resulted in instability. There is an urgent need for generating employment for people, especially the youth. Employment is directly related to empowerment and impacts the sustainability of peace in Afghanistan.

Access to comprehensive and sustainable healthcare services: It is understood for the development of a nation, enhancing public health is significantly essential, particularly for countries like Afghanistan, where the health system is underdeveloped, fragile, and vulnerable due to decades of war. ODS believes strengthening our public health systems is an essential need to prepare and respond to diseases and improve populations' access to appropriate and comprehensive healthcare. Lack of access to adequate and sustainable healthcare services is a common challenge across Afghanistan, particularly in remote areas. We aim to collaborate with national and international actors and local communities to find and fill in gaps in access to healthcare as it will help protect and improve the health of the population.
